7 < 0.5v+10
*should be less than it equal sign
Subtract 10 from both sides
7-10 < 0.5v+10-10
The 10 cancels itself out on the right
-3 < 0.5v
Divide both sides by 0.5
-3/0.5 < 0.5v/0.5
-3/(1/2) < v
Multiply by the reciprocal
-3*(2/1) < v
-6 < v

-6 is less than or equal to v
