To change a fraction into anequivalent fraction with a denominator of 100: 1. establish how many times the given denominator fits (divides) into 100 2. multiply both the numerator and the denominator by that number.

You can just multiply 3/8 with 12.....3•12=36 and 8•12=96...because you will never get the denominator 100....
