Ben says that when any number between 1 and 9 is multiplied by 5, the product always has a 0 or 5 in the ones place. Is this reasonable? Explain3rd grade student

Okay, here we have this:

We can see that Ben is right because when multiplying any even number by 5 the result ends in 0, and when multiplying any odd number by 5 the result always ends in 5.

So, finally we get that Ben's statement is completely reasonable.
