solve the equation -1/3m-7=5

The Equation:                 -1/3 m - 7 =  5

Please watch me closely.

Add  7  to each side:       -1/3 m      = 12

Multiply each side by  3 :    -1 m      = 36

Multiply each side by  -1 :       m      = -36
